Atlanta, Georgia Mar 30, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Today, Black Collegiate Gaming Association announces the Women Got Game annual Summit and Esports Tournament to tour Atlanta on Saturday, April 15 at Georgia State University Speakers Auditorium located at 55 Gilmer St. Women of color who are in high school or college can register now FREE of charge.
Women Got Game (WGG) is the first of its kind purposely dedicated to connecting high school and collegiate women of color with Black, Latina, Asian, and Native American corporate partners and leaders in the gaming/esports, technology, and entertainment industries.
Attendees, whether avid gamers or just interested in the sport, will have a full-day schedule of activities and discussion groups while connecting with some of the biggest names among women of color in the Gaming industry, made possible by WGG partners Bennett Thrasher, 2K, Riot Games, Sony® PlayStation, the Dallas Mavericks, ADT, and the Dallas Wings.

The Black Collegiate Gaming Association (BCGA) was established to provide education, access, and career opportunities in the gaming and esports industry to Black and women of color high school & college students. BCGA offers virtual and on-campus curriculums; inter-collegiate video gaming competitions; internships and post-graduation job opportunities; team-building and leadership training; professional development and networking events; scholarships and mentorships; on-campus esports and gaming labs.
Founder and Chairwoman Keshia Walker launched BCGA in May 2020 after more than 20 years of running a successful celebrity events and experiential marketing firm. She made history herself by being the first Black woman to enter the male-dominated field of collegiate gaming & esports.
